At SHELOVESSTEM our board members are passionate leaders, educators, and professionals dedicated to inspiring and empowering the next generation of girls in STEM. With expertise spanning science, technology, engineering, and math, they work together to create engaging programs, provide mentorship, and advocate for greater female representation in STEM fields.
Each board member brings unique skills, experience, and vision to help shape our mission of fostering curiosity, innovation, and opportunity for young girls in underserved and underrepresented communities.

Board Chair
Beverley Rogers
Beverley brings over 15 years of experience across the nonprofit, for-profit, and public sectors, with a strong passion for community involvement and STEM education. She has served in senior executive support roles at organizations such as Beacon Roofing, the Federal Trade Commission, and United Way of New York City, gaining expertise in board relations, resource development, human resources, and legal affairs. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Beverley enjoys cultural events, potlucks, and music, especially Kenny G. and currently resides in Hanover, MD with her son.

Community Outreach
Dayna Kent
Dayna is a dedicated educator passionate about student growth, wellbeing, and success. An Edward Waters University alumna, she believes in meeting students where they are, using an individualized and compassionate approach to impact their futures. With experience teaching in Prince George’s County and the District of Columbia Public Schools, Dayna has earned multiple honors, including Teacher of the Year and the National Citizenship Education Teacher Award (2009–2010). Committed to serving at-risk communities, she continues to inspire through her teaching and community work as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Communications
Ericka Holt
Ericka Holt is a communications professional with a passion for storytelling, community engagement, and amplifying voices that drive impact. A proud two-time HBCU graduate of North Carolina Central University and Bowie State University, Ericka brings a strong foundation in strategic communications, brand messaging, and audience engagement.
Her experience includes content development, outreach initiatives, and crafting clear, compelling narratives that support education, innovation, and equity.
Ericka is deeply committed to using communication as a tool for empowerment and believes that representation, visibility, and authentic storytelling are essential to building inclusive pathways in STEM.

Secretary
Keyanna Williams
Keyanna is a passionate advocate for STEM education and empowerment. A proud graduate of Shaw University, she has a strong background in Computer Science, Mobile Device Technology, Mobile Device Engineering and Mobile Device Security, she is committed to inspiring young people, especially girls and underrepresented communities, to explore opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through her work with SHELOVESSTEM, Keyanna supports initiatives that spark curiosity, build confidence, and provide hands-on experiences that prepare students for future success. Her dedication reflects a deep belief that when students are given access, mentorship, and encouragement, they can become leaders and innovators who transform the world.

Events/Volunteer Coordinator
Keyanna McKenzie
Keyanna brings passion, organization, and creativity to every initiative. In her role, she oversees volunteer engagement, ensuring that each person feels valued and empowered to contribute to the mission of inspiring the next generation of young women in STEM. Keyanna also manages event planning and coordination, helping to design impactful experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and open doors for students from all backgrounds. Dedicated to service and community, she embodies the spirit of mentorship and collaboration that drives SHELOVESSTEM forward.
